High Tails is the embodiment of a dream of Beth Byerly and Laurie Raymond to have a center serving dogs, cats, and the people who love them. Laurie has trained, bred, shown and loved dogs her whole life, and has managed animal shelters and animal welfare campaigns, and currently serves on the board of CARE (Colorado Animal Rescue). Beth has been an educator and coordinator of academic programs, and is happy to be using her skills and knowledge to help people live happily and responsibly with their pets!

Their team also contains Kim Colbert CVT, doggie day care manager – who is on temporary leave after giving birth to Caylee Jo Colbert on April 23. Sharon Haller, former president of CARE, has worked extensively in the recreation and hospitality industry in the valley, and brings broad knowledge and enthusiasm to High Tails. And Tracey Yajko, who will be attending Jean Donaldson’s Dog Training Academy at the San Francisco SPCA this summer, has been filling in for Kim. She brings a lifelong love of dogs, a strong creative flair and a retail background to the team.
