Everything is
more fun in the company of your dog -- but unfortunately, there
are times and places he just can't go with you -- work, school,
meetings, skiing and rafting to name a few.
Commuter households,
where the dog is home along 8, 10 or sometimes even 12 hours
a day during the work week often find that a mid-week day
at High Tails, romping with the pack of friendly canines, gives
your dog a new leash on life.
Peace of mind for you and a great time for
him are very affordable. The standard rate is $20 per day (up
to 12 hours); $12 per half-day (up to 5 hours) or $5 per hour
if you just want to have lunch or get a haircut.
We also offer multiple-dog discounts and
frequent user passes with a lower rate. If you want him to
have a bath, nail trim or massage while he's at High Tails,
those services are also available.
Our play space has a solid rubber floor,
toys, climbing equipment and splash pools, constant supervision
and comfortable beds for napping. Dogs are taken out for potty
breaks as often as necessary, but spend the day in climate-controlled
comfort indoors.
Tourists traveling with a pet need a safe
place to park him while they ski, climb, raft, shop or dine
out. Motels frown on pets being left unattended in the room,
and it's often too hot or too cold to leave an animal in a car.
High Tails offers visiting pets a special
kind of hospitality while their people are enjoying the many
recreation opportunities found in the valley.
We're happy to make special arrangements
for puppies, elderly or frail dogs and can give medications
or meals as directed. Dog
care is only appropriate for healthy dogs who play well
with other dogs. Sorry, but we can't accept
females in heat, most intact males, or aggressive dogs.
We
have no overnight facilities but can refer you to other options.
Cats are welcome too. They will be kept
in a kitty condo, not among the dogs! |
